My name is Tomek Kaczanowski. I live in Kraków (Poland). I am test-infected and I hope to be very contagious. :)

I am developer, team lead, conference speaker (at Geecon, 33rd Degree, Confitura, JDays and JUG meetings), and books author.

I used to be involved in Gradle community. I'm not a committer there, but I helped by taking care of some parts of documentation (i.e. Gradle cookbook), and testing latest snapshots.

This blog is dedicated to my various coding activities (Java, testing, Gradle etc.). I try not to increase the information smog, so you should expect not very frequent, but hopefully interesting posts here.

Feel free to contact me by mail.

While creating blog posts I use various tools like Drupal, Intellij IDEA, Clker.com, Inkscape, Gimp & XMind. They are all free and really, really useful. Kudos to people who develop them!

The motto of this blog is taken from John Carmack:

"Programming is not a zero-sum game. Teaching something to a fellow programmer doesn't take it away from you. I'm happy to share what I can, because I'm in it for the love of programming."

Feel free to contact me by mail. You can find more info about me at twitter, linkedin, github and slidshare.

I hope you'll find some useful information on my blog.
